A SOLDIER’S CHILD

The wonderful people of this community support the children whose parents died serving and protecting our country. ASC steps in for the fallen parent by sending birthday gifts to their child, throwing Christmas parties, hosting summer camps, having songwriting camps and so many other wonderful events. Each and every one of these children I have written songs with will forever be in my heart. 

ARTISAN GLOBAL

Artisan Global is a 501c3 non-profit that develops sustainable jobs, strategies and vocational workspaces in post-conflict regions, its first creative studio space, The Artisan Center, being in Northern Uganda. My longtime bff Devon Feldmeth, who happens to be an incredible entrepreneur, designer & humanitarian, co-founded this incredible organization. I have watched this outreach grow over the years and know firsthand how it has impacted the precious creatives of Uganda.

OPERATION SONG

Operation Song empowers veterans, active-duty military members, and their families to tell their stories through the process of songwriting.

I’ve been writing songs with our Veterans and their families via this organization for a decade now. These are the most important songs I write and I’m honored to help our heroes tell their stories to find healing. This outreach is so deserving!

Music Health alliance

I know countless stories where this incredible organization & Tatum Allsep (founder and real life angel) has stepped in and instantly provided the means to get medical care for songwriters, musicians, artists, and all members of our industry who are oftentimes without health insurance and facing an unexpected health crisis or medical medical emergency, myself included. They were there to help me when I needed it the most and could not be more grateful or supportive of their mission at Music Health Alliance. 

NSAI

The Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) consists of a body of creative minds, including songwriters from all genres of music, professional and amateur, who are committed to protecting the rights and future of the profession of songwriting and to educate, elevate and celebrate the songwriter and to act as a unifying force within the music community and the community at large. I’ve been proud and honored to advocate for songwriters’ rights in Washington alongside this small but mighty organization & every bit of support helps. SINGLE NOT ALONE

Single Not Alone is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded by my beautiful friend, entrepreneur & single mother herself, Heather Soriano. It’s dedicated to providing support for single mothers and their children, focusing on three specific areas of need: mental health counseling for single mothers and their children, supporting after school and extracurricular programs and equipment, and supporting emergency medical care programs for single mothers and their children.
